Seen On Twitter: #whateverhappenedto Condoms?

We were pleasantly surprised to see the trending topic #whateverhappenedto come up in our "Condoms" twitter feed today ("pleasantly" because we're glad people are discussing birth control--the bad news, I guess, is that the topic is people not using it!). Anyway, I couldn't resist choosing a few favorites to highlight for posterity. Here are my top 11 #whateverhappenedto condoms tweets (with commentary), in no particular order:

1. @None_illa: #whateverhappenedto Condoms? I understand sex feels better without it... but the "pull out" method Does not work... All these Kids! --Well, there's some debate about the "pull out" method, but on the whole I've got to agree with @None_illa. Between the risk of STDs and the [low] likelihood of people using the withdrawal method correctly, condoms, please!

2. @R3DP0IS0N: #whateverhappento ...CONDOMS...damn --Concise.

3. @MishGoddess: #whateverhappenedto people using condoms? The fuck all yall getting pregnant for, practice on a banana. --Harsh delivery, but not a bad suggestion...

4. @TheCollinsTwins: #Whateverhappenedto guys using condoms instead of believing a girl "sayn" she on birth control, uhh there are STDs not just babies out here! --Indeed. Both partners should be responsible for contraception!

5. @hildalovesyou: #whateverhappenedto it NOT being cute to be pregnant at 18. so many young girl pregnant; looks like a fashion trend. condoms work. try them! --We hear you, @hildalovesyou!

7. @VAPete: #whateverhappendto to wearing condoms that fit??? *pause*... magnums sold out in every store i go to ... --I once saw a grown man put a regular-sized condom over his head and partially inflate it (don't try that at home!)--hard to believe so many men really need Magnum XLs.
