Have you EVER had unprotected sex when you weren't planning to get pregnant?
It just happened...it was the heat of the moment...I wasn't expecting to have sex tonight. Everybody has an excuse because everybody's been there...right??
Maybe, maybe not. But there's no "maybe" about having unprotected sex - couples who regularly have sex without any kind of birth control have an 85% chance of getting pregnant within a year. In fact, using birth control - but not using it correctly - can be risky, too. Kourtney Kardashian became the latest celeb to announce an impending baby bump, an unplanned pregnancy that resulted from her forgetting to take her pill every day.
So we know that unprotected sex when we're not planning to have kids is a bad idea...then why do 20-somethings have such a hard time using contraception consistently and correctly? Have you ever had sex after forgetting your pill? Or just didn't feel like finding a condom in the bedside table? Tell us your stories and let us know: do you protect yourself EVERY time?
